In January, I was able to attend an event with other Mom Collectives from across the region at the DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, TN. The resort is everything you could ever want for a family getaway (or a girlfriends’ trip, or a romantic getaway….I digress!). At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, there is the Dollywood Theme Park, Dollywood Splash Country Water Park, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa, and Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins. In addition, there are cousin companies and dinner shows all there in the Smoky Mountains. I’m so thankful that Dollywood hosted us, so we can share an inside look at all the parks and resorts have to offer!

I spent 3 amazing days at the Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa as part of an event for Dayton Mom Collective. If you haven’t been, it’s a MUST go to! The property is beyond beautiful, and the environment is all about family!! Also, they have lifeguards… at their indoor pool. It’s amazing.
I was able to meet Mary Kellogg who (along with her husband, John Joslyn) owns the Titanic Museums in both Branson, MO and Pigeon Forge, TN. It was so neat spending time with her and hearing how the museums came to be! We also got to take an amazing tour with Pink Jeep Tours and go off road. Im so thankful for this opportunity, the new people I was able to meet and seeing what amazing things there are in an area our family LOVES to visit. I’m so thankful also that my forever best friend, Cindy Davis, came with me because I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have made it there without her in that snowstorm!
We laughed and spent time finding out all that Dollywood had to offer. Did you know they have Gold Passes similar to Kings Island (only way better, in my opinion)? They also offer a Preschool Pass for FREE (this 2022 season for children born in 2017/2018)!

They have updated their Gold cards, which is super nice. The cost is not much more than KI, and they give you 4 bring-a-friend tickets per Gold pass… which is huge. So for our family, it would be 24 free bring-a-friends.
Honestly if I had known they had passes, we would have gotten them last year and spent most of the days at the park and water park. It’s soooo expensive here without passes (we spent $2,000 between food and fun last Summer with just our oldest)! It would have allowed us fun without the high prices.
