School is back in session, and life is busier than ever! I’m always looking for ways to get dinner on the table easier and faster, and Dorothy Lane Market always does just that. With their Gourmet Takeaway items and incredible Rotisserie Chicken, dinnertime just got a lot less stressful. Check out some of my favorite meals-in-minutes that you can make, too!
Behold the Rotisserie Chicken! It’s so incredibly versatile for a ton of different meals, not to mention absolutely delicious. It is my favorite thing to get when I want something simple to make but also going to taste great. I like to immediately break down the chicken when I get home. I remove all of the meat from the bones and set them aside to make bone broth later.
BBQ Chicken Pizza
My latest obsession is DLM’s ready-made pizza dough. It’s ready to be rolled out and baked and makes such an amazing crispy crust.
– DLM Pizza Dough
– Shredded DLM Rotisserie Chicken
– DLM Original BBQ Sauce
– DLM Smokey Corn Salsa
– Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Gouda Cheese
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Lightly flour a dry surface and roll out your dough into a circle. I like to make it pretty thin, so the crust gets crispy. Transfer the rolled out dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet. Pour about a 1/2 cup of the BBQ sauce onto the crust and use the back of a spoon to spread it out while leaving a half-inch border around the edge.
Place the chicken evenly around the pizza and spoon the corn salsa around. Lastly, sprinkle the sharp Cheddar cheese all over the pizza. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

– Sliced Bell Peppers
– DLM Smoky Corn Salsa
– Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Place oil in a pan over medium heat, and add the bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let them cook down for a little bit, then add in the chicken to reheat it.
I like to serve tacos as a make-your-own tray so everyone is able to make their perfect taco. Add any taco toppings your family enjoys onto a tray or cookie sheet. My kids love to be in charge of making their own creations!
– DLM Rotisserie Chicken
– Red Grapes
– Sweet Pickle Relish
– Croissant (for Serving)
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. You can adjust the amounts for how much you want to make. I like to try and do a 1:1 ratio of the chicken, grapes, and celery. Serve on a fresh croissant from the DLM bakery for an easy and yummy lunch or dinner. It’s also great left over!
Chicken Tenders Meal
– Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard
– Fresh Fig Salad with Balsamic
– Crinkle Cut Sweet Potatoes
You can grab these dishes in DLM’s Gourmet Takeaway case or in their Grab & Go case.
Tip for heating up your chicken tenders: Throw them in an air fryer! It keeps them crispy and juicy.
I love DLM’s salad combinations. There are so many great ones to try; the fig and Caesar are two of my favorites.
My kids love French fries, but I prefer to make my own. DLM makes getting dinner on the table easier by having these sweet potatoes cut, seasoned, and ready to cook.
