I was born in New York and lived in several states before settling down in my favorite State of all time – Ohio! I have an interracial family that consists of my amazing and talented husband (Derek) and our beautiful, silly daughter (Adilyn {2009}). I work full-time in human resources in addition to owning the Cincinnati, Dayton, & Louisville Mom Collectives, write and illustrate children’s books, love to volunteer, and am a registered and certified nutritional consultant (RNC/CNC). I still do my best to be the best mom and wife I can be! I love art museums, the theatre, reading, and parks. I’m a foodie and always love trying new places to eat. I hope other moms find either enlightenment or humor from my posts!

Hi, mamas! I’m Emily, born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, and now raising my family in the Champion City. I’m married to my college sweetheart (he’s from Springfield, too, and we knew each other in high school, but we didn’t make it Facebook official until our freshman year at Ohio State). We’re proud parents of a precious yet oh-so-rotten baby boy, MJ (b. November 2016), and a fur baby named Bentley. Needless to say, I am the queen of our household! I work full-time as a PR pro for a marketing-communication agency and am always striving to find the perfect work-life balance. I’m a Joanna Gaines wannabe, lover of all things rose gold and a self-diagnosed Target addict… I mean c’mon, what mama isn’t?!

Living the crazy #momlife with two school-aged kiddos. You can mostly find me with coffee in one hand and a laptop in the other, all while trying to teach both kids! But, we are moms, right? Multitasking is the name of the game. I'm excited to share this experience with you all!

I live in Washington TWP with my husband, Jordan, our daughters Samantha (2017) and Sydney (2022) and our German Shepherd, Leia. My family is originally from the Dayton area although my dad’s job with the Air Force took us all over the country (even overseas for a bit). I have a background in Sales and Marketing and am thrilled to be part of the DMC team! My hobbies include slow walks down the aisle of just about any store, so if you see me out and about please say hello!
