I am a stay at home mom to two boys, Sammy and Ollie. I enjoy cooking, theater, traveling to see friends, and using my limited free time to sip on a cappuccino. I am originally from Rochester, NY where great Italian food abounds. My husband Kevin and I have lived in several different cities throughout our marriage and we really enjoy Dayton and all it offers to a growing family. I am looking forward to being part of a wonderful team here on the Dayton Moms Blog.
Hello! My name is Amy! I am married to my wonderful husband who works at Target! How awesome is that!?! I have three very beautiful girls. Savannah is my oldest and my artistic one. Lacie is in the middle and is my wild child with the biggest heart. Emma is our littlest one who acts and thinks like an adult. I work full time managing a team of escalated help desk associates at a call center. I'm completely addicted to Iced Chai Lattes and Starbucks. I love getting out and about as much as our hectic schedule allows - either exploring new places or revisiting our tried and true favorites!I am a Dayton native who vowed to pack up and leave for bigger sights but never made it further than Centerville. I've been married to a fellow Daytonian for five years, and we currently play house in the Englewood area. I have two bonus kiddos - a daughter and a son - and one daughter. When we aren't playing soccer or hockey, our family enjoys checking out our Metroparks and visiting local farms that host family events. To detox from life's stressors, I love running, eating mass quantities of chocolate, and praying -- sometimes all at the same time.My husband, Michael, and I are both from northern Ohio and settled in Dayton last year after a detour to sunny South Carolina for a few years. I’m a mom to a sweet girl, Helena (name possibly influenced by Harry Potter), and a fur-mom to two dachshund mixes, Rosie and Larkin. I did my undergrad at the University of Akron in biochemistry and went on to dental school at the Ohio State University and I’m a practicing dentist here in Dayton. I love trying new restaurants and recipes (especially after binge-watching the Great British Bake-off), I tolerate running (keeps me from feeling too guilty about all the above-mentioned food), I can’t live without black coffee, red wine, or face masks, and I’ve been learning so much more about myself (and my husband) after becoming a parent! She has lived in the Dayton area since 2007, when she moved from her home in the UK to be with her American husband. During the day, Cat works as the creative manager at Naked Lime Marketing in Kettering. Outside of work, she enjoys winding down by reading, writing, running, lifting weights, and cooking.
I grew up in Centerville, but I now live in Wilmington with my husband Tony. Together we have 6 kids, Joe, and his wife Allison, Austin, and his wife Hannah,, Sydney, Andrew, Max, and Eli. Did I mention we are a little nuts starting over with this parenting thing when we are 45+???? My husband and I are both ministers in the local church. We were both married before and brought our families together in 2010. After a few years of marriage, we felt God's leading for us to adopt. We added Max to our family in 2014 and Eli joined us in 2017, our quiver is officially full! Blending our family has been an adventure! Add some ex-spouses and two birth mommas and we have ourselves a crazy crew! Coffee is my love language, I just finished binge-watching Parks and Recreation and love me a Ron Swanson. The beach is my happy place and I long to have my toes in the sand.I was born in New York and lived in several states before settling down in my favorite city of all time - Cincinnati! I have a biracial family that consists of my amazing and talented husband (Derek) and our beautiful, silly daughter (Adilyn). I work full-time in addition to running the Cincinnati and Dayton Mom Collectives, am in school full time for my MBA, write and illustrate children's books (search "Author Courtney Jayne Snow" on Amazon), and am a registered and certified nutritional consultant (RNC/CNC). I still do my best to be the best mom and wife I can be! I love art museums, the theatre, the zoo, reading, and Cincinnati parks. I'm a foodie and always love trying new places to eat. I hope other moms find either enlightenment or humor from my posts!Hello, friends. I'm California grown but currently reside in the Dayton, Ohio area. I am a full-time wife, mother, and type one diabetic. I spend my time caring for my little family and trying to live my best life. I am married to an amazing man and we have two beautiful kiddos; Addie (b. Nov 2007) and Russ (b. Nov 2014). Together they make up my whole heart. Between juggling our busy schedules and trying to get healthy I also advocate fiercely for the JDRF. My passions include; reading, writing, traveling, learning new recipes, and making memories with my family. I look forward to sharing my crazy, hectic, mom life with you all.Hi, mamas! I’m Emily, born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, and now raising my family in the Champion City. I’m married to my college sweetheart (he’s from Springfield, too, and we knew each other in high school, but we didn’t make it Facebook official until our freshman year at Ohio State). We’re proud parents of a precious yet oh-so-rotten baby boy, MJ (b. November 2016), and a fur baby named Bentley. Needless to say, I am the queen of our household! I work full-time as a PR pro for a marketing-communication agency and am always striving to find the perfect work-life balance. I’m a Joanna Gaines wannabe, lover of all things rose gold and a self-diagnosed Target addict… I mean c’mon, what mama isn’t?!Hey y'all! I am a Springboro kid, who has traveled the globe and came right back to the area to settle down. I am a mama of four, wifey to my high school sweetheart. I am a lover of all things antique~flea market~vintage. I often overindulge on chocolate, Amazon and personal home renovation projects. In another life, I was a fifth-grade teacher, and now I run a small business while maintaining the stay-at-home mama gig. I wouldn't trade this crazy ride for anything!Hello there! I have been a proud Daytonian for the past ten years. My husband and I have three beautiful kids together, ages five and below so the adventures never stop. Although I am passionate about helping others as a nursing educator and nurse practitioner, my most challenging and rewarding role is being a mommy. I enjoy sharing the journey of motherhood and life with other mothers out there. I believe we all can learn from each other's experiences and work together so that no one feels alone as they navigate through the sometimes murky waters of life and motherhood. We are in this together and I look forward to sharing in this journey with you!I am a wife, mother, and all-around busy person! My twin girls and little boy keep me busy with their activities and adventures in the evening and I work full-time in the communications office of a private high school during the day. We live in Springboro, but also called Huber Heights our home for eight years. I am excited to share stories of what motherhood has been like for me so far!A Dayton native, I live with my partner and our three children. One has a color name, the middle a place, and the last sounded good with the other two (third child problems). I am passionate about conservation and recycling (it’s one of my love languages). Patterns and colors speak to me as a creative but I wish I made more time to express it (see aforementioned children). As a family, we love board and card games with an extensive collection and our own game table. Being a SAHM I enjoy finding local activities and grocery shopping (mini momcation if I grocery shop by self).Hi! I’m Katie, boy mama to 3, wife of a picky eater, photographer, business owner, and food lover. I grew up in Kettering but moved away for college at Ohio University where I got a degree in Commercial Photography. After graduating college I moved to Columbus where I fell in love with my husband and the charm of the capital city! We quickly found ourselves back in Dayton after having our first baby. I love exploring local restaurants and shops all around Dayton and you’ll probably see me snapping photos to share on Instagram!I am Mom to five-year-old Layla, three-year-old Joey and soon to be born twins. I've been an Air Force wife for 10 years, retiring from teaching at the ripe age of 25 to spread her wings and fly to exotic destinations like Dayton, then Germany, and back to Dayton. She spends most days being dragged around the block by a rambunctiou13-year-old dog while trying to chase down her kids on their bikes. And no, I will never get a bike myself.I am a mom to Cece (June 2014) and Abby (May 2017). I work as an attorney practicing in the area of estate planning and probate. I've been married to my husband Adam for 5 years and lives with my family in Centerville. When I'm not working or mom-ing, I enjoy running, working out under the stars at my favorite early morning bootcamp, and playing golf.Hi Everyone. I’m Lisa. I am a wife to an amazing husband and mama to Ella (almost 9), Liam (5), Aiden (5) and Adeline (1) My family and I love exploring the local area, especially since neither my husband or I grew up here. We came for college (GO WRIGHT STATE) and never left! After working as a caseworker for 12 years, I now work full time as an Adoption Recruiter (a new position that I started before I had Adeline.) My spare moments (not that I have many) are spent taking photos, reading, or spending time with my twin mama friends! Photo courtesy of Blink of an Eye Photography.Hello! My name is Mallory, and I am a Troy native. My husband and I now live in Beavercreek with our daughter, Greer (May 2016) and son, Smith (Feb 2019). The first several years of parenthood have taught me that I still have so much to learn! I’m trying to figure it out with a little bit of humor and a lot of humility. I am a Hallmark movie enthusiast, an amateur at-home chef, an avid library-goer, a '90's pop culture fanatic, and the worst dancer you will ever meet. I believe we are our best selves when we are on vacation, that birthdays should be week-long celebrations, and that local restaurants are far superior to chains.Hey there, I'm Rebecca! I am a believer, proud military wife, Mama of 4; 2 in Heaven and 2 here with us. I’m originally from Florida, but we moved to Ohio about two years ago and I honestly LOVE the change. Dayton was quick to feel like home to us, and we've definitely been enjoying the seasons! Being a Mom is the happiest full-time job, but I love making the time to keep up with my personal interests as well. I run a blog and Instagram @theivynest; where I share a bit of our story and everyday life, along with my love of home decor and keeping things simple. Life is definitely busy, but I truly believe that it is equally as beautiful when we choose to see it that way!I am Mom to two beautiful, sassy, extroverted (didn’t get that from me) little girls; Nora (2009) & Meredith (2011). I am a certified child life specialist, but have found my passion project in nurturing this community here in Dayton as well as its sister site in Cincinnati. Motherhood is so many things… powerful, challenging, exhausting, rewarding, life-changing and amazing to name a few. My hope is that you are able to find something that enriches your life through this site, whether that is as simple as a helpful resource, support from local moms or a laugh at the end of a hard day. So glad to be on this journey with all of you!I am a full time working mom who lives in Centerville with my husband and two-year-old son. I watch Cars 3 pretty much every day, eat more chicken nuggets than I like to admit, and have taken a new found interest in construction vehicles - because that's what my son likes. Other than whole-heartedly embracing toddler-mom-hood, I enjoy crafting, long drives to Saint Louis, and being just a little bit sarcastic.Hello there! I’m Suzanne! I’m married to a law enforcement officer, and we are parents to three or five children, depending on how you look at it! Two are biological, one is on the way, and two were in our home (through foster care). Our home is usually chaotic, a little bit messy and always full to the brim with laughter and love (although sometimes that love looks more like a choice than feelings). In my spare time, I love to cook, bake, read books and go for a nice, slow run. My biggest passion is writing, and I do so at my own little corner of the internet (www.suzannehines.org) and here on the Dayton Mom’s Blog!
