In a perfect world, us Super Moms might think we can easily put on a Thanksgiving meal in a jiffy.
The reality of the situation is that it is quite an undertaking.
Sure, we could spend time making sure every detail is laid out just perfectly, but with that comes all the stress. Another viable option is to be thankful for is this wonderful community we live in that provides us with some relief! This list will give you some relief as it gives some ideas of places around town that can help you get your Thanksgiving celebration off to a less stressful start.

Bob Evans offers an “Every Day Thanksgiving” option for delivery or pick-up. The meal includes slow-roasted turkey with bread & celery dressing, mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, green beans with ham, macaroni & cheese, buttered corn, farmhouse garden salad with choice of dressing and a dozen dinner rolls. It comes complete with two gallons of freshly brewed iced tea or lemonade and a platter of cookies. The meal serves 10.
If cleaning your house before, during, or after the meal does not sound appetizing, you can also dine-in at Bob Evans on Thanksgiving.

Current Cuisine has a great a la carte menu for Thanksgiving this year, giving you options for everything from a roasted half turkey breast to shrimp platters, and everything else in between! Prices vary depending upon your selections.

If you are looking to change up your traditional Thanksgiving flavor, City BBQ might be your answer! Their catering menu includes smoked meats, bbq meat, as well as seasonings. Side options are a mix of Thanksgiving and bar-b-que side dishes including mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and cornbread to name a few.

Cracker Barrel offers two Thanksgiving meal options to meet your needs. The Heat n’ Serve option can go from oven to table in 2 hours or less for up to 10 people. You pick it up cold and heat it up before your guests arrive. The Homestyle Turkey n’ Dressing option is hot and ready to pick up Thanksgiving day for up to 6 people to enjoy. Dorothy Lane Market is once again helping the Dayton area eat well with little food prep! For Thanksgiving, they offer whole turkeys, whole turkey breast, or sliced turkey that are all precooked. Side items available to order include old fashioned cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean amandine (with or without nuts), and sweet potato casserole (with or without nuts), to name a few.

This all-inclusive meal does all the work for you! Mimi’s Cafe at The Greene offers a Thanksgiving Feast that includes turkey, mashed potatoes, candied pecan sweet potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, turkey gravy, cranberry orange relish, 2 carrot nut loaves, a whole pecan pie, and a whole pumpkin pie. If this is too much food, they also offer just the sides for $55 or you can purchase items ala carte! Orders can be placed online, over the phone, or in person.
If you do not want to cook, and you do not want to do the dishes, Mimi’s also takes reservations for Thanksgiving day! They serve a 3-course meal that is $19.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids.

Whole Foods Market has a very wide variety of options for fully prepared Thanksgiving meals for pick-up available at their Centerville location. All items will be picked up cold and will need to be reheated before serving. Options include a classic roast whole turkey, spiral ham, creamed spinach and kale, roasted butternut squash, and more! If you’d prefer to cook the meal yourself, they have lots of options for that too!
