Spring is FINALLY here and we’ve got some amazing local events for you this month.
So grab a pen and jot some of these gems down!
1. The Greatest Showman Sing-Along @ Plaza Theatre – Miamisburg

2. Derby Day Weiner Dog Race 2019 @ The Oregon District
***DMB Tip*** This is an outside event, so keep an eye on the weather!

Come out and enjoy all the Oregon District has to offer and cheer on the pups! The main event will be the race, but there is also a pup costume contest, parade, vendors, and so much more!
3. Brunch! A Food Truck Rally – Yellow Cab Tavern
- Sunday, May 5th, 2019
- 10am – 2pm

Come and enjoy all the best brunch offerings from some of Dayton’s most popular food trucks.
4. Mother’s Day Cake Decorating @ Dorothy Lane Market
***DMB Tip*** Registration is not required, so just show up and join the fun!
Event will be held at Dorothy Lane Market: Oakwood, Springboro, and Washington Square locations
- Saturday, May 11th
- 10am-12pm at DLM Oakwood and Springboro
- 1pm-3pm at DLM Washington Square
- $7.50 per cake
Gather up the kids and bring them to Dorothy Lane Market where they can decorate a cake especially for mom! All supplies will be provided so the kids can get creative and make a memorable cake that mom is sure to love!
5. Healthy Kids Day @ YMCA of Greater Dayton
***DMB Tip*** This is a great way to let the entire family experience fun, new ways to be active!

Join our partners from the YMCA of Greater Dayton to celebrate Healthy Kids Day at Riverscape as they promote the national initiative to improve kids’ health & well-being! This free event will include kids Zumba classes, sports skill clinics, ballet, line dancing, martial arts, arts & crafts, games from Camp Kern, & other enrichment activities as well as a family fun run! Prizes & giveaways will be given to all participants.
6. Big Rig Gig @ Centerville-Washington Park District
***DMB Tip*** This is bound to be a popular event, to plan to get there early!

Get up close and personal with some amazing vehicles. (Fire Trucks, Tractors, Police Cruisers, etc.) They will also be taking packages of new socks as donations for Shoes 4 the Shoeless.

9. Springfield Antique Show Extravaganza @ Springfield, OH

Load up the family and head to Springfield for a fun antiquing adventure. There is bound to be a treasure or two found at this massive event.
10. Farm Babies Fest @ Aullwood Farm
***DMB Tip*** You’ll be spending the day outdoors so be sure to wear proper foot gear and dress for the weather.

11. Superhero Donut Run @ Centerville Highschool

12. Taste of Cincinnati @ 5th street Downtown Cincinnati
***DMB Tip*** There will be lots of walking at this event friends, so make sure to bring strollers or wagons for the little ones and go early to avoid the largest crowds.
