Sweet summertime is upon us! Gather up your family & friends and head out to experience some of these great events!
1. Troy Strawberry Festival @ Downtown Troy & along the Great Miami River Levee
***DMB Tip*** Prepare for walking, so wear appropriate shoes and bring strollers and wagons for the little ones.

The 43rd annual Troy Strawberry Festival is such a fun way to kick off the start to summer! Grab some sunscreen, your walking shoes, and prepare to eat and shop your way through downtown Troy!
2. Free Admission Day @ Aullwood Audubon
***DMB Tip*** Be mindful of the weather surrounding this event – you may want to wear boots!

3. The Banana Split Festival @ 1100 Rombach Ave., Wilmington, Ohio
***DMB Tip** A Fireworks show will take place Friday night to celebrate their 25th anniversary!

Come and celebrate the banana split in the town that created it! Experience the nostalgia of the 50’s and 60’s in this outdoor festival features live entertainment, food, fun, games and of course BANANA SPLITS – including a banana split eating contest on Saturday too!
4. Saturday Night Fox Hollow Rodeo @ Waynesville, Ohio
***DMB Tip*** Don’t dress to impress – this outdoor experience can be a mess!

Experience the rodeo at Fox Hollow! Enjoy watching a variety of events like bull riding, mutton bustin, barrel racing, as well as food, free pony rides, line dancing, & more!
5. Kettering Block Party @ Fraze Pavilion
***DMB Tip*** Arrive early!

Learn more about the City of Kettering, enjoy live entertainment, free hot dogs, and free bicycle helmets for children ages 5-16 (while supplies last)!
6. Father’s Day Cookie Decorating @ Dorothy Lane Market
***DMB Tip*** Registration is not required, so just show up and join the fun!
Event will be held at Dorothy Lane Market: Oakwood, Springboro, and Washington Square locations
- June 15th
- 10am-12pm at the Oakwood & Springboro Locations
- 1pm-3pm at the Washington Square Location
- $7.50 per cookie
Celebrate dad this Father’s Day with a 12-inch chocolate chip cookie decorated by your kids! DLM will provide the cookie cakes made by their bakery team as well as all of the decorating tools your kids will need to get creative!
7. For the Love of Animals Block Party @ The Greene
***DMB Tip*** Bring blankets & chairs to sit on to enjoy the live entertainment and snack to share with the family.

Sophie’s Companions for Veterans will be fundraising during this fun event meant for the whole family! They are dedicated to finding loving homes for rescue animals. Come out and enjoy live music, a beer truck, raffles, dogs, and more!
8. Vectren Dayton Air Show Parade @ Downtown Vandalia
***DMB Tip*** Arrive early to find available parking & grab a spot to watch the parade!

Enjoy this wonderful hometown parade before the official start of the Vectren Dayton Air Show the following day.
9. Vectren Dayton Air Show @ Dayton International Airport
***DMB Tip*** Buy your tickets at Kroger or Online and save up to $4 per ticket!

The Dayton Air Show is a staple of summertime in Dayton! Watch the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform aerial acts, check out multiple plane displays, or even take your own helicopter ride. The Air Show is definitely a Dayton MUST.
10. Carillon Park Rail Festival @ Carillon Historical Park
***DMB Tip*** Prepare for lots of walking, so wear appropriate shoes and bring strollers for the little ones.

A weekend of miniature train rides, live steam engines, model train displays, historical displays, and fun for all ages.
11. Independence Day Family Value Week @ Youngs Dairy
***DMB Tip*** Prepare for the weather bring water bottles, hats, and sunscreen if the weather is nice and warm.

12. Taco Fiesta 2019 @ Fraze Pavilion

Grab your family & head on out to the Fraze for the first ever Taco Fiesta! Admissions is free, but great food and margaritas will be available for purchase from participating restaurants to enjoy while live music plays!
