Date Night Round Up

This post is presented in partnership with Reza's. We are grateful to their support in bringing this resource to our community and for providing such a local destination for both date night and family time.
dayton area date night roundup

I like to think of myself as the Queen of date night. I’m big on the idea that dating my spouse is incredibly important because otherwise, it’s way too easy to just see him as another capable adult that is there to help make sure our tiny humans stay alive. But when we take the time to go out and spend some quality time together, we tend to remember that we actually really like each other too. If you aren’t currently making time for date night in your life, I highly recommend giving it a try.

When I was a teenager growing up in Dayton, I believed there was NOTHING to do here. In all fairness to 16-year-old me, this area has grown leaps and bounds since the early 2000s. Nevertheless, there is no excuse these days to say there isn’t anything to do in Dayton. If you truly believe that, you just aren’t looking hard enough.

Hang Out at Reza's Until the Kids are Asleep

Is it really a date night if you have to go home and put the kids to bed?

Fortunately, we know the perfect place to extend date night until after those precious little heads are firmly planted on those pillows.

Reza’s offers the perfect blend of casual intimacy, locally curated (delicious!) coffee, and an owner who 100% gets what this parenthood gig is all about. There are plenty of reasons to check out Reza’s with the kids in tow as well, but we love the idea of settling in with our significant other for the chance to really reconnect and end that date night on a peaceful note.

Mom Tip: Bring a deck of cards or a game to play if that is something the two of you enjoy!
