August Dayton Dozen :: A Guide to Family-Friendly Events

Due to COVID-19 many events that typically take place in August are canceled or postponed. This month, we thought it would be fun to put together a list of the amazing hiking/ walking trails that are located all around our beautiful Dayton area.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced hiker, someone out for a leisurely stroll, or a family seeking adventure this August – check out these beautiful locations to explore trails, campsites, and designated fishing and swimming areas. DMC Mom Tip: Pack plenty of water, snacks, and even a change of clothes. The ponds and creeks are too nice not to splash in on those hot days. Don’t forget the sunscreen! Toss everything in a back pack, leaving you hands-free.
